Way-too-early projections for the Alabama football depth chart for the 2023 season

Alabama finished the 2022-2023 season with an 11-2 record, which was not the ideal end to the season, but it’s difficult to complain when this team’s disappointment is another team’s cause for celebration.

Several of the players that are expected to return to play pivotal roles next season are Jase McClellan, Chris Braswell, Kristian Story, and Tim Smith. Meanwhile, other players like Malachi Moore and Jermaine Burton have already announced that they are returning for their senior seasons.

The Tide’s roster will have a plethora of talent across the board at each position. There will likely be position battles that are not decided until Week 1 of the 2023-2024 season.
