Waterville, West Canada Valley regional finals games postponed due to winter storm
The Waterville girls basketball team and West Canada Valley boys basketball team advanced to the regional finals after winning the Section III Class C championship last weekend. Due to the expected bad weather, the start times of their games have been delayed.

Section III has announced that all regional basketball games being hosted by the section have been pushed back in anticipation of inclement weather Friday night.

Waterville girls' game with Newark Valle will now be played at Cicero-North Syracuse High School at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 12. The Class A regional game between Averill Park and Bishop Ludden is set to tip off at 3:45 p.m.
The West Canada Valley boys' game with Newfield is now set to start at 3:45 p.m. Saturday, March 12 at Liverpool High School. The Class B regional featuring Heuvelton and Cincinnatus is set to begin at 2 p.m.
Section III also is hosting the Class D girls game between Heuvelton and Copenhagen. That game is now set for 3 p.m. Saturday, March 12 at Jefferson Community College.
Tickets for the regional final games hosted by Section III are $10 and can be purchased at www.section3.org.
