Watch out for flooding on these Fort Smith roadways and intersections
A number of Fort Smith intersections and streets are prone to flooding after heavy downpours.
With more storms in the forecast Friday, Fort Smith police reminded residents of places to avoid during heavy rain.
Police are urging people not to drive into water, especially if the area has a barricade.
A wind advisory was issued for the Arkansas River Valley Friday with gusts up to 45 mph possible in places. Chances for heavy rain in severe storms moved to the east of Fort Smith Friday morning.
Skies are expected to clear Saturday with sunshine and temperatures in the low 60s.
The list of spots that flood includes N. D Street and N. 10th Street and N. G and N. 9 in the downtown area.
