Manual sophomore Malachi Coleman scored only five points in the LIT quarterfinals Wednesday but his game-winning layup with 13 seconds remaining clinched a 40-38 win for the Crimsons.
Miles Franklin, Ballard
Ballard senior Miles Franklin led the Bruins (15-2) to a Louisville Invitational Tournament championship Saturday, pacing the Bruins with 20 points, seven assists and four rebounds. Ballard ended the week hoisting the trophy after defeating Moore, St. Xavier, Manual and Male along the way.

Jayson Gasaway, Male
Male sophomore forward Jayson Gasaway had a career-high 28 points and eight rebounds as Male fell to Ballard 80-71 in the Louisville Invitational Championship on Saturday.
Dalton Hicks, Fairdale
Fairdale junior Dalton Hicks showcased his talents in the first round of the LIT by dropping 20 points and snagging eight rebounds in the Bulldogs' 73-46 win over Beth Haven.
Josiah Lawson, Western
Western sophomore Josiah Lawson came up huge with 13 points during the Warriors' 48-42 win over Trinity in the LIT quarterfinals Wednesday.
