[MUSIC PLAYING] It's time for "Word on the Street," where we check in with our panelists, find out what stories they are watching. There's another presidential debate this week at where they'll actually be debating each other, not in separate town halls. Rick Newman, is this going to be another interruption fest?

RICK NEWMAN: Yeah, a lot of people probably are discouraged to hear there's going to be another debate, but we are going to have one more. And just worth pointing out, there was some discussion after the first debate where there was just so much interrupting, most of it by President Trump, that they might try to change the rules for this debate. But there have been no rule changes, so there's some chance it could end up going off more or less like the last one.

Now, Trump-- some Trump advisors supposedly have been telling him the form-- it just didn't work last time when he kept trying to throw Joe Biden off by constantly interrupting and that he just kind of came off looking like an obnoxious jerk. So maybe Trump will try some new tactics. But look, I mean, Trump doesn't change his stripes, so we probably will see much more of the same. But some people will be encouraged to know that climate change is on the agenda this time along with some other familiar topics, so we will get at least one debate where the two candidates are supposed to talk about what they would do on climate change.

ADAM SHAPIRO: Is it a danger for-- to let Joe Biden though speak if President Trump understands-- I mean, that's the goal, right, to hopefully get Biden to ramble and then flub up.

RICK NEWMAN: I think that's been the goal all along, Adam. And, you know, Trump and the Trump campaign and his supporters keep saying, you know sleepy Joe, he's barely there. He suffers from, you know, mental decline. What they've done is set a very low bar for Joe Biden, so, you know, political analysts basically say, all Joe Biden has to do is seem relatively competent and not have any major flubs. Yet that's how he did the last time around. He did fine in the last debate, and he's been doing fine by that standard in his appearances out on the stump. So Biden has to get through one more wicket here, and he'll be kind of in the home stretch.
