Here are the Valley freeways that will be closed this weekend
The Arizona Department of Transportation released its list of upcoming closures and restrictions headed for Valley freeways this weekend.
Notable closures will be seen along stretches of Interstate 10, 17 and U.S. 60.
ADOT advised drivers to allow for extra time and plan alternate routes. Drivers should be prepared to slow down and merge safely when venturing through work zones.

Eastbound I-10 closed between State Route 51 "Mini-Stack" interchange and U.S. 60
Details: Eastbound I-10 will be closed between the State Route 51 "Mini-Stack" interchange and U.S. 60 (Superstition Freeway) for bridge work and a traffic shift as part of the ongoing I-10 Broadway Curve Improvement Project.
All eastbound I-10 on-ramps between Third Street and Baseline Road closed
Southbound SR 51 and westbound Loop 202 (Red Mountain Freeway) ramps to eastbound I-10 closed
Southbound I-17 connection to eastbound I-10 near Sky Harbor International Airport closed
When: 10 p.m. Friday, June 16 to 4 a.m. Monday, June 19.
Alternate Routes: Eastbound I-10 drivers approaching the closure can use eastbound Loop 202 (Red Mountain Freeway) to southbound Loop 101 to get to westbound U.S. 60 or westbound Loop 202 (Santan Freeway). South/eastbound Loop 202 (South Mountain Freeway) can be used to avoid the closure.
Drivers are advised to expect heavy traffic and delays.
ADOT Note: The westbound I-10 off-ramp at 40th Street will be closed until July for reconstruction. Drivers can use the off-ramp at 32nd Street.
Eastbound U.S. 60 closed between I-10 and Loop 101
Details: Eastbound U.S. 60 (Superstition Freeway) will be closed between I-10 and Loop 101 (Price Freeway) for a pavement improvement project.
The I-10 ramps to eastbound U.S. 60 will be closed.
When: 9 p.m. Friday, June 16 to 5 a.m. Monday, June 19.
Alternate Routes: Eastbound Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) can be used to reach northbound Loop 101. Baseline or Broadway roads can be used to travel past the closure.
Northbound I-17 closed between Thunderbird Road and Loop 101
Details: Northbound I-17 will be closed between Thunderbird Road and Loop 101 for a pavement improvement project.
The northbound I-17 on-ramps at Cactus Road and Dunlap and Peoria avenues will be closed.
The southbound I-17 off-ramp at Greenway Road will be closed for a pump station removal.
When: 9 p.m. Friday, June 16 to 5 a.m. Monday, June 19.
Alternate Routes: Northbound SR 51 to westbound Loop 101.
Northbound I-17 drivers can exit before the closure and use northbound 19th Avenue to travel beyond it.
I-10 narrowed to one lane in both directions between Verrado Way and State Route 85 in Buckeye
Details: I-10 will be narrowed to one lane in both directions in areas between Verrado Way and SR 85 in Buckeye for a widening project.
When: 4 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday, June 17.
