The Knights and Mustangs will square off at 1 p.m. Sunday, per a statement released Tuesday evening by the American Athletic Conference. The game was originally planned for 3:30 p.m. Saturday, but the storm's continued eastward trajectory prompted the change.

Television details have not been finalized, though the game will be carried on one of the ESPN networks.
UCF announced earlier Tuesday that it would close campus operations from Wednesday through Friday amid expected tropical storm force winds in the Orlando area.
Asked about internal discussions during his weekly media availability Monday, Knights head coach Gus Malzahn said the team would take a "day-by-day" approach with plans to prepare normally for the game.
Plans for several other in-state Division I college football games have been altered.
South Florida will face East Carolina on Saturday in Boca Raton, with Tampa expected to be among the major cities hit hardest by Ian's winds and rainfall. The Florida Gators will also be in action early Sunday afternoon, hosting Eastern Washington.
Stetson announced it will cancel a trip to Pioneer Football League rival San Diego.
Florida State, however, remains steadfast in its effort to play Wake Forest at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in a showdown of nationally ranked teams.
