U.S. Marshals Office offers $5,000 reward for Gastonia murder suspect, Bloods gang member

The U.S. Marshals Office has offered a reward of up to $5,000 for help in capturing a suspect in the May 27 killing of a Shelby man in Gastonia.

Gastonia Police say Terry Antonio Lomick, 41, of Gastonia, fatally shot Garreth Tomas Rondaz Bickham, 35, of Shelby, around 11:52 p.m. Friday, May 27, near the intersection of Rankin Avenue and North King Street.

Bickham died of a gunshot wound to his upper body. He was sitting in his car when he was shot.

Police describe Lomick as being a Black man, 5 feet, 10 inches tall, and weighing 160 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes, "praying hands" and "T-Money" tattoos on his right arm. Police say Lomick is a "known Bloods gang member."

Police have obtained a first-degree murder warrant against Lomick in Bickham's death.

"This remains an active investigation. Detectives continue to work on a possible motive for this homicide and are working to determine how the victim and Lomick were known to each other," according to a statement released by Gastonia Police.

Anyone with information regarding Lomick’s location is asked to immediately call 9-1-1. Police consider him armed and dangerous.

Bickham was the father of several children and was reportedly living in Gastonia with his girlfriend at the time of his slaying.
