Tennessee Titans select Tulane RB Tyjae Spears in Round 3 of 2023 NFL Draft
The Tennessee Titans selected Tyjae Spears, a running back from Tulane, with the 81st overall pick in the third round of the 2023 NFL Draft, which they acquired as part of a trade with the Arizona Cardinals earlier Friday night that allowed the Titans to move up in the second round to select Kentucky quarterback Will Levis 33rd overall.
Spears, who is 5-foot-11, 195 pounds, ran for 1,581 yards and 19 touchdowns on 229 carries, and caught 22 passes for 256 yards with two touchdowns last season. The redshirt junior was named American Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Year.
The Titans picked Northwestern offensive lineman Robert Skoronski 11th overall in the first round of the draft on Thursday night.
