Tennessee football lands commitment from Jesse Perry, a MTCS offensive lineman for 2024

Middle Tennessee Christian offensive lineman Jesse Perry committed to Tennessee on Friday, he announced on Twitter.

The 6-foot-7, 275-pound Perry also had offers from SEC schools Vanderbilt, Mississippi State, Missouri and Ole Miss as well as Power 5 schools TCU, Duke, North Carolina, Georgia Tech and Louisville. Middle Tennessee State, Memphis and Cincinnati also had offered among others.

Perry is rated by 247Sports Composite as a 3-star prospect and the No. 33 player in Tennessee (74th offensive tackle nationally) in the 2024 class.

His most recent visits included Tennessee (March 25), North Carolina (March 27), N.C. State (March 29) and Duke (March 30).

He is a three-year starter for a MTCS that is 17-7 over the past two seasons, reaching the DII-A state semifinals in 2021 and state quarterfinals in 2022.

He was named to the Division II-A all-state team by the Tennessee Sports Writers Association this past season.
