The NBA All-Star Game in Cleveland will be played for charity, with both teams representing local causes.

Team LeBron, led by Akron native LeBron James, will play for the Kent State I PROMISE scholars program. All eligible students in the LeBron James Foundation's oldest I PROMISE Network are guaranteed four years of free tuition, including one year with a free room and meal plan, at Kent State.

Team Durant, led by Kevin Durant, will play for the Greater Cleveland Food Bank. Last year, the winning team's charity received $1.25 million while the losing team's charity received $500,000.
