Target to open 2-floor Port Chester store in April. See when, where
Fans of Target have something to look forward to: Port Chester's two-floor Target location is opening in less than a month.
Anthony Thomas, a Target spokesperson, said he could confirm that the Port Chester Target would open this year, but could not provide a specific date. However, a sign on the front door of the store, located at 495 Boston Post Road, indicates it will open April 3.

"We're excited to bring an easy, safe and convenient shopping experience to new guests in the New York community with this new Target store," Thomas said.
Announced in July 2020, Target signed a lease for a two-level 89,781-square-foot space at the outdoor shopping center Gateway Port Chester. The signing was part of the shopping center's rebrand from Port Chester Plaza into Gateway Port Chester.
The Port Chester location is the first of two confirmed Target stores coming to the lower Hudson Valley. The second is coming to Yonkers' Cross County Center in the former Sears space. Once complete, the Yonkers store will be among the brand's largest and "most dynamic" locations in the country, according to a release at the time of announcement. There is currently no opening date for the Yonkers' location though Thomas said it's coming to the area "in the next few years."
