Snow forecast leads to school closings, early dismissals in North Jersey
With a rare chance of measurable snow in the forecast for North Jersey Wednesday, some schools in the area decided to close for the day.
Snow is more likely in the northwest section of the state, with up to 5 inches possible in some areas per the National Weather Service.
"This will be the first impactful snow of the season for some, so don’t let the first snow sneak up on you," the National Weather Service of Mount Holly tweeted.
Here are some of the school districts in North Jersey that either closed or have early dismissals on Wednesday. Districts listed are closed for the day unless otherwise noted. Check with your school for more information.
