Six former Auburn football players receive invites to 2023 NFL Scouting Combine
AUBURN – With the 2023 NFL Scouting Combine less than a month away, the NFL released a list Wednesday of all 319 prospects invited to the annual event. Six are former Auburn football players.
The list of former Tigers includes Tank Bigsby, Anders Carlson, Derick Hall, Eku Leota, Owen Pappoe and Colby Wooden. ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr. released a mock draft Jan. 25 that had Hall going No. 27 overall to the Buffalo Bills. Matt Miller, also of ESPN, had Hall getting selected by the Kansas City Chiefs with the No. 30 pick in a mock draft released Monday.
Alabama leads the SEC with 13 invites. Georgia has 12 and Florida and LSU each have nine apiece.
The combine will take place in Indianapolis from Feb. 28 to March 6. The 2023 NFL Draft will follow two months later from April 27-29.
