Holiday shopping: Black Friday mall, store hours in Jacksonville

Black Friday, traditionally the biggest shopping day of the year, continues to evolve as retailers have moved away from midnight and 4 a.m. openings popular in recent years to early online sales and later store openings — that is, if you consider 5 a.m. or 6 a.m. later. In fact, many stores have already begun offering Black Friday deals online.

A Russian man faced trial on Thursday on charges of high treason for a video he had allegedly sent to Ukraine's security services, the latest in a growing series of espionage cases amid the fighting in Ukraine.
