Sebastian River cross country's Jake Kramer voted TCPalm Athlete of the Week
Sebastian River cross country senior Jake Kramer has been voted TCPalm Athlete of the Week for Nov. 1-6.
With the Sharks hoping to earn a berth to the 3A state championship, Kramer ran a personal-best time of 17:23 to finish 23rd overall. Sebastian River finished in a tie for fourth at the Region 4-3A Championship on Nov. 6 to move on to the state meet in Tallahassee.
Kramer earned 30 percent of the ballot with Somerset College Prep Academy senior bowler Alexis Mulholland finishing as the runner-up, receiving 23 percent of the vote.
Jensen Beach swimmer Ayden Cason, Pine School cross country’s Fripp Stringfellow, Jensen Beach volleyball’s Lindsay Walch, Jensen Beach swimmer Blair Stoneburg, Fort Pierce Central bowler Charlie Passanante, Vero Beach golfer Annika Miller and St. Edward’s golfer Adam Rogers were also nominated for their performances during the week.
Athlete of the Week voting will return next week on Monday with the poll to go live at noon and will end at noon Thursday.
