Dairy Maid Ice Cream
Open every day from noon to 10 p.m. at 1517 Cove Road, New Bedford. Since 1948, they have been offering soft-served ice cream, over the years they have added hard-served ice cream, yogurt, sherbets, Italian ice, and sugar-free ice cream options. Try the Lava Cake Sundae with a scoop of your favorite flavor and sauce with a warm chocolate lava cake.
Acushnet Creamery
Open 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily at 264 Main St., Acushnet, For 20 years they have been dishing up homemade ice cream, frozen yogurts, and sherbets with over 50 flavors. Get a cone of the Blueberry Cheesecake, made with a blueberry cheesecake base mixed with cheesecake bites and graham cracker crumbs. Also visit their Pier 3 location from noon to 9 p.m. daily at 230 MacArthur Drive, New Bedford.

Dockside Ice Cream
Open noon to 9 p.m. each day at 1 Bridge St., South Dartmouth. Serving the SouthCoast for decades, they have homemade Acushnet Creamery ice cream, freshly made waffle cones, vegan ice cream frappes, and more. Order the Cranberry Harvest, a cranberry-based ice cream with chocolate chunks, walnuts, and craisins.
The Bucket at Gulf Hill

Hill Crest Ice Cream
Open 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday through Sunday at 332 Old Fall River Road, Dartmouth. Situated on an alpaca farm they are offering hot waffle sandwiches with your choice of ice cream, sundaes, banana splits, and more.
The Country Whip
Open daily 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at 1173 N Main St, Acushnet. For many years they have been serving homemade soft serve ice cream and farm fresh hard ice cream as well as fat-free yogurt, sugar-free ice cream, sherbets, dairy-free, and gluten-free options. You can’t go wrong with the M&M ice cream cookie sandwich with vanilla ice cream and chocolate chips.

Open noon to 9 p.m. daily at 109 W Grove St., Middleboro. Providing the SouthCoast with sundaes, hard and soft serve ice cream, sherbet, no sugar added or non-dairy ice cream, frozen yogurt, Del’s Lemonade, and more.
