Sam Kerr levels pitch invader during UEFA Women's Champions League match between Chelsea and Juventus

With stadium security nowhere to be found when a fan ran onto the field during a UEFA Women's Champions League game between Chelsea and Juventus, Chelsea player Sam Kerr took matters into her own hands.

The pitch invader somehow made his way onto the field, disrupted play, appeared to yell something at players and take a selfie before meeting his deserved doom with a vicious shoulder barge from an onrushing Kerr. The collision leveled the pitch invader, and security finally made their way onto the field to apprehend the individual.

In what was a confusing decision by the referee, Kerr received a yellow card for her actions.

Kerr, who plays internationally for Australia, has been a member of Chelsea since 2019. Before joining Chelsea, Kerr played in the NWSL for Sky Blue FC (now NJ/NY Gotham FC) and the Chicago Red Stars, and is the league's all-time leading goal-scorer. While playing for Australia, Kerr scored five goals at the 2019 World Cup and six goals at the 2020 Summer Olympics (including one in the bronze medal match against the United States).
