A pair of Rock & Roll Hall of Famers who’ve sold more than 36 million records worldwide are set to perform in Pueblo this summer during the 2023 Colorado State Fair.

The state fair announced Monday in a news release that one of the “most formidable power couples in rock history” — 2022 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductees Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo — are joining the lineup of musical acts performing at this year’s fair.

Benatar and Giraldo will perform at 7 p.m. Sept. 3 in a show presented by the Colorado Lottery.

Because of the state lottery’s sponsorship, tickets for the show will not be available through the state fair box office and must be purchased with vouchers obtained by making qualifying purchases of lottery products.

“Thanks to the sponsorship of the Colorado Lottery, those who make a qualifying purchase of $30 or more on a single ticket of Powerball (with or without Powerplay and/or Double Play), Mega Millions (with or without Megaplier), Colorado Lotto+ (with or without Plus), or Lucky for Life will receive a voucher redeemable for concert admission, while supplies last,” the state fair announced in its release.

Vouchers can be redeemed for a concert ticket at ColoradoStateFair.com.

Each voucher is good for one gate and concert admission for the show, and each lottery player can redeem a maximum of two vouchers per email address.

Benatar and Giraldo are known for some of their ultra-popular rock hits such as "We Belong," "Invincible," "Love Is A Battlefield," "Promises In The Dark," "We Live For Love," and "Heartbreaker."

The pair have combined to create two multi-platinum, five platinum and three gold albums, as well as 19 Top 40 hits.
