Reactions: Matt McLain, Reds 2021 first-round pick, homers twice for Double-A Chattanooga
Matt McLain, the Cincinnati Reds' first-round pick in the 2021 MLB Draft out of UCLA, homered twice Wednesday for the Double-A Chattanooga Lookouts against the Rocket City Trash Pandas, hitting a grand slam for his second homer of the game and seventh HR in 22 games this season.
McLain, 22, hit a solo homer in the 1st inning followed by the slam in the 7th. He has hit four home runs in three games for the Lookouts.
