Priscilla Presley settles dispute over Lisa Marie Presley's estate trust

Priscilla Presley has "resolved" a dispute over late daughter Lisa Marie Presley's estate.

Presley, 77, filed legal documents in January protesting the validity of a 2016 amendment to Lisa Marie Presley's living trust that removed Priscilla Presley and a former business manager as trustees and replaced them with Lisa Marie Presley's two oldest children, Riley Keough and Benjamin Keough, if she died or became incapacitated. Benjamin Keough died in 2020.

Priscilla Presley issued a statement Tuesday that the "confusion" had been solved and further clarified the documents she filed.

"My family has resolved all confusion as it relates to our plea to the court and request for document interpretation after my daughter Lisa Marie's untimely passing," Presley said in the statement to USA TODAY. "Although the media identified such a plea as a lawsuit, I want to make clear that there was never any lawsuit filed against my beloved granddaughter. As a family, we are pleased that we resolved this together."

Priscilla Presley's court filing listed several issues that brought the living trust amendment's authenticity into doubt including a failure to notify her of the change as required, a misspelling of her name in a document supposedly signed by her daughter, an atypical signature from Lisa Marie Presley and a lack of a witness or notarization.
