Plymouth man dies from injuries after car crash last week

SHEBOYGAN - A man died after being involved in a car crash near Plymouth on the morning of Nov. 10.

Frank Cordes, 75, of Plymouth, was driving north on State 57, turned west onto County C in front of an agricultural truck hauling corn, according to the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department.

The two vehicles collided in the intersection, and the impact pushed Cordes’s car into another car. Cordes was the only person injured in the crash.

Cordes went to HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital, and was later airlifted via Flight for Life to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center-Neenah, where he died from his injuries later on Nov. 10, according to the sheriff’s department.

Cordes, born in Milwaukee, owned Wilderness Ridge Shooting Estate and trained hunting dogs in Cascade, according to an obituary from Suchon Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife Judy Rowe, stepson Christoph Myers, sister, two nieces and other relatives and friends, according to the obituary.
