Pistons’ Jalen Duren looks to be set to return on Friday vs. Raptors
After sitting on Tuesday due to a neck injury, Detroit Pistons rookie Jalen Duren appears to be set to return to the court Friday on the road against the Toronto Raptors.
Duren suffered the injury on Sunday in a loss to the Miami Heat when his chin appeared to make contact with Kevin Love on the head. Pistons coach Dwane Casey said Duren was a bit woozy afterward and the 13th pick was held out of action with a “cervical; whiplash” designation.
The Pistons removed him from their injury report on Friday so Duren appears to be cleared to return to action as they wrap up a two-game road trip north of the border.
