Patriots welcomed back two key starters at Wednesday’s practice
Help is coming on both the defensive and offensive sides of the football for the banged-up New England Patriots.
Wide receiver DeVante Parker, who missed the last three games due to a concussion, was back on the practice field on Wednesday, along with Patriots veteran cornerback Jalen Mills.
With Mills, Marcus Jones and Jack Jones out for the Week 17 matchup against the Miami Dolphins, New England was forced to get creative with three safeties in the defensive backfield. They were clearly fortunate enough to have the versatility to do so in a game where they somehow kept Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle in check.

Marcus Jones (concussion) was still missing at practice, and Jack Jones went on injured reserve last week with a knee injury. As of right now, the Patriots are still slated to play against the Bills in the scheduled Sunday game.
Keep in mind, things could change given the fluid nature of the week, following the tragic incident involving Bills safety Damar Hamlin.
