Packers select Iowa State safety Anthony Johnson Jr. in seventh round of NFL Draft

The Cyclone defensive back was taken by the Green Bay Packers with the 25th pick of the seventh round (242 overall) on Saturday.
Johnson spent the first four years of his career as an all-Big 12 cornerback, but spent his fifth − granted by the COVID-19 waiver of 2020 − as one of the conference's best safeties.
