Olly Alexander Said He Will No Longer Model For Savage X Fenty After Johnny Depp Was Announced As A Model For "Savage X Fenty Vol. 4"
Years & Years singer and It's a Sin star, Olly Alexander, announced he would no longer be working with Savage X Fenty after it was announced that Johnny Depp would be partaking in its Savage X Fenty Vol. 4 show.
The announcement that Depp would be walking in the show comes five months after he won a high-profile defamation case against his ex-wife, Amber Heard, and was met with swift backlash — with people accusing Rihanna of being "out of touch" for the casting decision.
Olly has worked with the brand as an ambassador and featured in their 2022 Valentine's Day campaign. However, he reacted to the news of Depp's casting with an unhappy face:

Then, after a fan said that Olly wears the label "so well," Olly responded that he "won't be wearing it anymore":
thank you but after this news i won’t be wearing it anymore https://t.co/MvW5LuHTow
And liked a series of tweets calling Depp's casting a "disappointment":
Amid Depp's VMAs appearance, BuzzFeed asked Shanita Brown — a certified counselor and East Carolina University teaching assistant professor — what kind of impact a Depp "comeback" might have on victims of sexual assault and domestic violence. "This comeback is just another punch in the stomach and is gut-wrenching," she began.
