OKC Thunder to play Minnesota Timberwolves in play-in tournament game for 8th seed

The Oklahoma City Thunder are one win away from making the playoffs.

The Thunder advanced in the play-in tournament following their 123-118 win over the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday. With the win, OKC will now away play the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday, April 14 for the eighth seed.

After losing to the Los Angeles Lakers in the 7th vs. 8th play-in tournament game, the Timberwolves will get another chance to clinch a playoff berth with a home game against the Thunder.

The Thunder lost the season series, 1-3 — with losses of seven points, 10 points and two points. OKC’s lone win was a seven-point victory.
