Ohio State men's volleyball's win streak is over.

After carrying a 12-game win streak into the NCAA tournament with a three-set sweep against King University in the play-in game, the Buckeyes lost their first match since March 15, losing in four sets to Penn State in the NCAA tournament quarterfinal Tuesday night.

Splitting each of the first two sets — decided by a total of five points — Penn State beat Ohio State down in the third set, beating the Buckeyes 25-13. And after tying the fourth set at 24, a service ace and an attack error by Ohio State outside hitter Jacob Pasteur, the MIVA men's volleyball player of the year, secured the Nittany Lions win.
