A full freeway closure Sunday night on northbound Interstate 43 at North Avenue in Milwaukee was reopened after a jackknifed semi was cleared from the lanes, according to tweets from the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office. No injuries were reported.

The closure lasted for several hours.

The Milwaukee Police Department closed northbound McKinley, Fon du Lac, Kilbourn and Highland on-ramps to "accommodate response," the sheriff's office said.

The incident occurred around 7:25 p.m., according to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation Traffic Management Center. No other vehicles were involved in the incident, the sheriff's office said.
