Nicole damage after hurricane makes landfall in Florida: Instagram video, tweets and Tiktoks
Social media users are capturing the damage in Florida from Hurricane Nicole, which made landfall just south of Vero Beach on the Treasure Coast about 3 a.m. Thursday, according to the National Hurricane Center. The storm had maximum sustained winds of about 75 mph with higher gusts.
Hurricane Nicole’s winds began causing severe erosion and damage along Florida's Atlantic Ocean coast hours before making landfall. Some structures along the coast in Volusia County have been damaged.
