Video Transcript

ADAM SHAPIRO: News "On the Move" right now. The Sheriff in Marion county, Florida has ordered his deputies to stop wearing masks while on duty. Sheriff Billy Woods does allow a few exceptions for deputies working at the county courthouse, jail, hospitals, and public schools. Sheriff Woods says his order is about making it easier for deputies to communicate with the public. His order also forbids any visitor to the Sheriff's department from covering their face.

JULIE HYMAN: Actors will be returning to Walt Disney World after a two-month standoff between the company and the union representing the workers. Disney is funding a testing site for those employees who cannot wear protective masks while performing. The Actor's Equity Association represents about 750 performers at the park.

ADAM SHAPIRO: Tribune Publishing is closing newsrooms at some of the oldest and respected newspapers in the country. Among the shuttered newsrooms are the 101-year-old "New York Daily News" and the "Capital Gazette" in Annapolis, Maryland. Those papers will still publish print and digital online editions, but employees will continue to work from home. Tribune sent a letter to the "New York Daily News" employees saying they have until the end of October to retrieve their personal possessions. Tribune has not paid rent at several of its leased properties for the past three months.
