I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! star Myles Stephenson has revealed he suffered nasty injuries following an accident while ski boarding.
The Rak-Su singer was hospitalised after the incident occurred as he holidayed at ski resort El Pas de la Casa in Andorra. He shared details of the accident on his Instagram stories before posting a video of himself speaking from hospital a few hours later.
He said in the video: "Hey - what up people? I look a bit worse for wear, don't I? Basically, I broke a few ribs, I ruptured my spleen and have some internal bleeding.
"That has stopped now, so I'm just chilling here on ICU [intensive care unit] - it's like a five-star ICU - it's amazing.
"Thank you for all your messages, guys. My mum and the rest of my family are getting me through this. I'm counting my blessings day in, day out. Always tell your loved ones you love them. Peace."
In his earlier post, he stated that he had "concussion, two broken ribs and punctured spleen which resulted in internal bleeding" before reminding his followers that "life is precious".
The X Factor winner appeared on the latest series of I'm a Celebrity, where he finished in 7th place.
Shortly after he arrived back in the UK from Australia, his grandmother died at the age of 89.
After he left the camp, he told hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly that he had debated doing the show due to his grandparent's ill health.
At the time of her death he shared a tribute stating that he "knew [she] wouldn't leave without hearing [his] voice one more time".
