Mississippi State football vs. Alabama: Kickoff time, broadcast information

STARKVILLE — Mississippi State football's Oct. 22 game at Alabama will be at 6 p.m. The television broadcast will be on ESPN.

It's MSU's first trip to Tuscaloosa since 2020. Alabama has won the last 14 matchups in the series, capped by the previous two against Mike Leach.

The Bulldogs haven't scored a touchdown against the Crimson Tide in Leach's tenure. Alabama won 49-9 last season and 41-0 the year before. MSU hasn't kept the final score within a touchdown since 2017.

No. 17 Mississippi State (5-1, 2-1 SEC) is coming off another impressive win, taking down Arkansas 40-17 on Saturday after beating Texas A&M the week before.

No. 1 Alabama (6-0, 3-0) is coming off a scare against Texas A&M. The Crimson Tide walked out of Bryant-Denny Stadium with a 24-20 win while Heisman-winning quarterback Bryce Young was sidelined.

MSU travels to No. 22 Kentucky this Saturday (6:30 p.m., SEC Network), while Alabama has a marquee matchup against No. 8 Tennessee.
