Milwaukee Brewers manager Craig Counsell is one of Oconomowoc Lake's most recent residents, according to online real estate records.

Counsell purchased the home on Dec. 1 for $2.25 million through a limited liability company. The seller is listed as Chapman Lakehouse LLC.

According to Oconomowoc Lake's assessor's database, the home has five bedrooms and four bathrooms. It sits on 1.2 acres and previously sold for $1.65 million in 2015.

Taxes on the home are listed at just over $24,500, Waukesha County tax records show.

Counsell grew up in Whitefish Bay, played 16 seasons for five teams and won two World Series titles. He was hired in 2015 as the manager of the Brewers after retiring as a player in 2012.
