Nick Eubanks and Carlo Kemp did not hear their names called during the NFL draft.

But it wasn't long before they found opportunities to make a roster.

The two former Michigan football players each signed with teams as undrafted free agents, with Eubanks signing with the Dallas Cowboys and Kemp signing with the Green Bay Packers.

Eubanks, a tight end, signed with the same team that picked up former Michigan tight end Sean McKeon after McKeon went undrafted last year. Eubanks was a fifth-year senior this past season whose numbers dropped as he dealt with an injury and an ineffective passing game. In five games, he caught 10 passes for 117 yards and one touchdown. His best season came in 2019, when he caught 25 passes for 243 yards and four touchdowns while improving as a blocker.

Kemp, one of Michigan's most experienced players this past season, will get a chance to catch on with the Packers. The former captain started 29 games along Michigan's defensive line in his five years in Ann Arbor. After beginning his career as a linebacker, Kemp eventually moved to the defensive line, where he found a permanent home at defensive tackle. He played a big role in 2019 and 2020 as a starter; in 2019, he tallied 40 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss and 2.0 sacks. This past season, he had 20 tackles, 2.0 tackles for loss and 2.0 sacks in six games.
