Martin Middle School welcomes interim principal for remainder of the school year
After being at Martin Middle School for less than a year, Principal Criselda Castillo has left Corpus Christi ISD.
Announced to the middle school's staff and families in late October, Castillo left CCISD to "seek new opportunities," said Leanne Libby, communications director.
"We wish her well, and thank her for her service to the district," Libby said.
Jolanda Vasquez, former assistant principal at Martin, was assigned as interim principal for the middle school and will serve the remainder of the 2021-2022 school year. She has been with the district since 2006.
