- I do want to mention some sad news that we have to bring you, which is that the Marriott president and CEO Arne Sorenson has passed away after suffering since 2019 from pancreatic cancer. He passed away yesterday. He had pulled back somewhat from his full day-to-day schedule of managing the company as CEO, as he has been undergoing treatment for several years.

And Brian Sozzi, I know that you have had the chance over the years to speak with Arne Sorenson, and by all accounts really a good leader there at Marriott.

- Yeah. I will say I'm just very deeply saddened by this news. You know, it was announced on February 2nd that Arne would give up CEO duties and spread those duties out, but, you know, you talk to anybody that has interacted, interacted with him, it just comes away with-- he's a good human being, and he was very much that and much, much more. And I know at least my time on Earth was made better through my interactions with him through the years.
