I have an odd obsession with miniature things. You know those tiny Christmas villages you see around the holidays? Those actually bring a tear to my eye. I wish I was kidding.

So when I came across the visual of chocolate-covered strawberries in the shape of mini roasted turkeys on TikTok, I knew I had to try it. The trend seems to have started last year, with people taking strawberries, mini marshmallows, pretzel sticks, and melted chocolate and with a little magic, transforming them into mini roasted turkeys.

Here's how they are made:

First, wash and dry your strawberries really well. Take a fork or a toothpick and stick it in the top end of the strawberry to prep for dipping in chocolate. Place on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil.

Snap one pretzel stick in half and push two mini marshmallows onto the end of one of the half sticks. Take scissors and shape the two marshmallows to look a little more like one long oval instead of two plump circles. This is serving as the "drumstick." Repeat this process with the other half of the pretzel stick.

Melt some chocolate however you prefer—I opted for 30 second increments in the microwave. Dip one side of the marshmallow end of the pretzel stick into the chocolate and stick it onto the lower third of the strawberry with the pretzel end down. Repeat on the other side.

Cut another marshmallow in half diagonally. Dip the cut end into the chocolate and place each half on either side of the top of the strawberry. This are the "turkey breasts."

Give the chocolate five minutes to dry. Then, grab the strawberry by the fork or toothpick, and dip the whole thing in the melted chocolate. A few tips here: Don't leave the strawberry in the chocolate too long, or the marshmallow parts will fall off. And let the excess chocolate drip off before placing it back on the baking sheet. Put in the freezer for at least 10 minutes to let everything set, and then enjoy!

And voila! You've got chocolate-covered strawberry turkeys. They are honestly so cute, it makes me want to make a chocolate-covered version of the whole Thanksgiving table. Any thoughts on how to make stuffing look this adorable?
