Madden NFL 23 adds Ja'Marr Chase's 'Griddy' celebration

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase (1) dances with Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon (28) and Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins (85) after scoring a touchdown fourth third quarter the AFC championship NFL football game, Sunday, Jan. 30, 2022, at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo. Cincinnati Bengals defeated Kansas City Chiefs 27-24.

Bengals receiver Ja'Marr Chase didn't seem to agree with his Madden NFL 23 rating when he tweeted about it in July.

But the video shared via Twitter by the Bengals suggests that he does approve of his "Griddy" celebration that the video game added.

From the Bengals via Twitter:

Last year, Chase appeared with on Nickelodeon for a Slimetime video that included Chase's explanation of the origin of his touchdown dance. He has insisted that he performs the dance better than Minnesota Vikings receiver Justin Jefferson, Chase's former LSU Tigers teammate.
