LSU gymnastics finishes in fourth place at the NCAA Championship meet
LSU gymnastics finished in fourth place at the NCAA Championship meet Saturday in Fort Worth, Texas.
The Tigers had a final score of 197.525. Oklahoma finished as the national champion with a score of 198.3875, with Florida and Utah finishing in second and third place, respectively.
Despite her team finishing last, Haleigh Bryant had the highest score in the all-around with a 39.725. She finished third in the floor and uneven bars and second in the vault.
Aleah Finnegan had the highest score for the Tigers on the beam, finishing in sixth place with a score of 9.925.

The only other Tigers to finish in the top 10 in an exercise were Elena Arenas on the vault and Chase Brock on the floor.
Saturday was the ninth time in program history that the Tigers had reached the NCAA Championship meet. LSU has never captured a national title.
