Did you win $100,000? Less than two weeks left to claim Ontario lottery prize that could go to waste

A $100,000 Lotto 6/49 Encore prize could go to waste if the winner from the Wednesday, July 28, 2021 draw doesn't come forward in less than two weeks.

The winning selection was 8843253 and the ticket was sold in Richmond Hill, Ont.

Lottery rules state that winners have a year from the draw date to claim their prize.

The owner, or owners, of the winning ticket should fill in the back portion, sign it and contact OLG Customer Care at 1-800-387-0098.

Ontario lottery players can check their ticket on OLG.ca, use the OLG App on a mobile device, sign up on OLG.ca for winning numbers to be emailed, or call the WIN! Line at 416-870-8946 (Toronto area) or toll free at 1-866-891-8946 (outside Toronto area).
