Have a look at the latest Bucks County boys volleyball rankings

The regular season comes to a close next Wednesday, so it's time for all teams to turn things up a couple of notches to be ready for the postseason.

Dock Mennonite, which has been atop our Courier Times/Intelligencer rankings since the start, looks like it will be ready for the playoffs as the unbeaten Pioneers remain the state's top-ranked team in PIAA Class 2A.

Take a look here (records through May 1):

1. Dock Mennonite (16-0)

The Pioneers are not only ranked No. 1 in the state in Class 2A, but are No. 14 in the country in USA Today's latest rankings.

2. Pennridge (10-2)

The Rams get a huge test at home on Friday night when they tangle with Dock Mennonite (7).

3. La Salle (11-1)

The Explorers, at 8-0, are the only unbeaten team in the Philadelphia Catholic League.

4. (tie) Bensalem (13-2), Central Bucks East (8-5), Pennsbury (11-1)

Pennsbury rallied from down 2-0 to beat the Owls last week while the Patriots jump into the rankings after handing Pennridge a 3-2 loss in a match they trailed 2-0 before rallying to win.

Others to watch: Neshaminy, Souderton, William Tennent.
