Vanderbilt football plays its first game in the newly named FirstBank Stadium on Saturday in its home opener against Elon.
The Commodores (1-0) technically lead the SEC as the conference's only team to play Week Zero, in which they demolished Hawaii, 63-10.
Among players unavailable this week for Vanderbilt are running back Patrick Smith; defensive linemen Devin Lee, Brayden Bapst, Yilanan Ouattara and Daevion Davis; and centers Julian Hernandez and Jake Ketschek.
