Lanae Riley continued her impressive senior season with 25 points Monday to lead the host Knights (16-0) to a win.

"Lanae is playing very consistent and great basketball," Hoban coach Pamela Davis said. "She is the No. 1 center in my opinion in the state. She is definitely living up to her first team All-Ohio selection last year [in Division I]."

Freshman Jenna Slates scored 10 points and grabbed six rebounds for Green (13-4). Alyssa Ziehler scored six points.

"Green is definitely talented and they have made some noise in the Federal League," Davis said. "We really jelled [Monday night]. I thought that we shared the ball quite well. I had Erica King run the point and she pushed tempo a little bit more, which opened up the floor and didn't have Lanae Riley be double-teamed like she has been the last couple of games.

"Adrena Gordon played an exceptional floor game. She hit the glass real hard and had a nice mid-range game. She was very complementary to Lanae Riley. Emma Rasmussen ran the floor extremely well, put pressure on their defense and hit a couple of 3s."
