A Manhattan judge is hearing arguments in a series of lawsuits from unionized public school teachers, local Republican officials and other New Yorkers seeking to put the brakes on the plan. Most drivers in private cars, locals and tourists alike, heading into Manhattan south of Central Park should expect to pay about $15 during the daytime, with higher tolls for larger vehicles and lower rates for motorcycles and late-night entries into the city, according to the proposal finalized in March.

Missouri inmate facing execution next month is hospitalized with heart problem
A Missouri inmate who is due to be executed next month has been hospitalized because of a “medical emergency,” a spokeswoman for the Missouri Department of Corrections said. David Hosier, 69, is scheduled to be put to death June 11 for killing a Jefferson City couple, Angela and Rodney Gilpin, in 2009. Hosier's sister, Barbara Morrill, said he has atrial fibrillation, which causes an irregular heartbeat.

NY Fed announces launch of new supply chain pressure metrics
The Federal Reserve Bank of New York is bolstering its data offerings tracking the state of supply chains. Noting that supply chain pressures are a key driver of inflation, the bank said in a press release that the new indexes “present a new gauge to measure how widespread supply disruptions are, understand if availability is improving, and track inflationary pressures and the impact on local firms.” The new gauges can be joined with the bank’s monthly Global Supply Chain Pressures Index “to compare trends in the U.S to international supply availability,” the New York Fed said.

As you know, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's divorce has been anything but smooth and drama-free.

Despite Kim posting a Notes App statement stressing that she wanted to keep things private, things got even more heated between the two after Kanye spoke out against North West being on TikTok. He even reposted screenshots of these Candace Owens tweets that criticized Kim:

WELL...on Sunday, Kanye posted these alleged texts with Kim's cousin, seemingly confirming they agree with him that North shouldn’t be on TikTok. "This is an example of Kim’s cousin agreeing with me about TikTok, then proceeding to ask me for some Yeezys afterwards," he captioned the screenshot.

"I don't even have the right to get angry as a father without being called erratic. I gave that family the culture — if they as a whole unit keep playing games with me, I will take that culture back. A father should never have to beg for the location of their children."

The second Instagram is even more jarring. He posted a screenshot of an outgoing text — we don't know to whom — that reads, "Send me Kim's number."

In this caption, Kanye wrote, "Yesterday, Kim accused me of putting a hit out on her. So, let me get this straight: I beg to go to my daughter's party, and I'm accused of being on drugs. Then, I go play with my son, and I take my Akira graphic novels, and I'm accused of stealing?"

"Now, I'm being accused of putting a hit on her. These ideas can actually get someone locked up. They play like that with Black men's lives, whether it's getting them free or getting them locked up. I'm not playing about my Black children anymore."

Kanye's third post showed that he had received Kim's phone number from Apple Music's Head of Content Larry Jackson.
