Everyone has their favorite Girl Scout cookie; now you can have your favorite Girl Scout cookie sneaker. Girl Scouts and K-Swiss teamed up for a new sneaker collaboration to honor the Scouts' heritage — and their iconic Thin Mints, Coconut Caramel, and Trefoils cookies.
The Girl Scout x K-Swiss Court 66 collection is made in the likeness of the sweet treats they represent.
The Coconut Caramel shoe is designed in a hairy suede with soft-touch side stripes reminiscent of the cookie’s stripes. The Thin Mints-inspired shoe has a mint green suede body and laces meant to embody the cookie’s chocolate-coated look . The Trefoils/Shortbread-inspired sneaker features a soft suede upper and an embossed puffed cookie. Each sneaker features Girl Scout branding at the heel and comes in a special cookie-inspired shoebox with silver foil paper for an added ascetic.
Matt Powell, senior industry adviser at NPD Group, reminds Yahoo Finance that K-Swiss is no stranger to collaborations. In 2019, the brand created a sneaker collection honoring the 35th anniversary of the classic comedy Ghostbusters. The brand also did a sneaker collaboration with entrepreneur, author, speaker Gary Vaynerchuk.
The Girl Scout x K-Swiss Court 66 will be a special edition limited shoe and will release on March 4. It will retail for $70 in kids sizes and $75 for women. The collection will be available on KSwiss.com, girlscoutshop.com, and Footlocker.com.
