Joe Burrow’s hate for Bills-Chiefs ticket sales was misguided (video)

Joe Burrow is a good player, but the Bengals quarterback and his teammates really have taken it to the next level on this one.

The Bengals beat the Bills far and square in the AFC divisional round, a 27-10 final.

Burrow gave one answer to a question after the game that was a lot rolled into one.

It was a bit cocky, correct, funny … and shortsighted from the Buffalo point of view.

Speaking on the field with CBS Sports, Burrow made sure to note: The NFL sold tickets to a potential neutral-site game for the AFC title in Atlanta last week.

It was something the Bengals clearly used as motivation.

Here’s Burrow’s response, saying refunds need to be issued:

Burrow fans are going to love it. Understandably so.

But it’s important to note: The front office down in Cincinnati decided to start selling some tickets too.

Prior to the weekend, the Bengals started selling tickets to a potential AFC Championship Game at their stadium if they were to host the Jacksonville Jaguars.

They won’t be — the Kansas City Chiefs beat the Jags. The AFC title will be decided in KC.

In all fairness, the NFL did make a big deal about it being the first potential neutral-site game. But it’s also a dull point considering the Bengals sold tickets, too.

The Chiefs sure are going to feel disrespected next week.
