Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are working on their relationship. The couple were spotted getting loved up this week in the Dominican Republic, where Lopez is filming her upcoming romantic-comedy, Shotgun Wedding.
As TMZ reported, Lopez and Rodriguez were photographed talking closely and kissing on a balcony Tuesday.
The PDA pictures come after Rodriguez flew to the Dominican Republic to visit Lopez as the couple works on their relationship following recent rumors of a split. Reports first circulated on March 12 that the couple had ended their relationship after four years together, but J.Lo and A-Rod quickly spoke out to set the record straight. In a statement to TMZ on March 13, the couple seemed to confirm they were going through a rough patch, but denied they had split, saying simply, "All the reports are inaccurate. We are working through some things."
Rodriguez flew to the Dominican Republic on Sunday and, on Monday morning, the baseball legend shared a video of his and Lopez's luxurious view, along with a hopeful message about their future.
"Happy Monday," he captioned the clip, in which he also tagged Lopez. "New week. New day. Onward. Upward."
That day, a source close to the couple told People that the reunion went well and that Lopez and Rodriguez were actively working on their relationship during the visit.
"Alex flew to the Dominican Republic yesterday," the source said. "Jennifer was excited to see him in person. They are really trying to figure things out. It was a happy reunion."
On Friday, Lopez shared behind-the-scenes photos of herself in character (and in a stunning wedding gown) on the set of Shotgun Wedding.
"Eye on the prize. 🌴 🌊 🎥 #ShotgunWedding #MakingMovies #SetLife #ProducerLife #BTS @egt239 📸: @kateland7," Lopez captioned the photos of herself wearing an off-the-shoulder wedding gown that featured a gorgeous corset bodice and a sheer skirt.
Rodriguez, meanwhile, hit the golf course to pass the time while Lopez worked on set.
"Golf in the 🇩🇴. #Blessed #Fore #playagrande," Rodriguez captioned an Instagram post featuring a series of videos and photos from his day on the links. Rodriguez was joined on the golf course by his friend, former White Sox pitcher Nick Silva, who joked in the post's comments, "It was fun taking your money on the course 🤪🤑🤑🤑."
