money Jake Paul deletes his fiery response to recent FBI raid at his mansion: ‘Absolutely absurd’
Following an FBI raid of his home in Calabasas, California, Jake Paul is trying to set the record straight.
The controversial YouTube star shared a video on August 12 in which he addressed “absurd” rumors that have been floating around since authorities removed guns from his mansion on August 5. The video has since been deleted.

“Just to clarify things and set the record straight, the FBI raid is entirely related to the Arizona looting situation that happened,” Paul said in the video according to Entertainment Tonight.”It’s an investigation. There are rumors about it having to do with so many other things that have nothing to do with me or my character and the s*** that people are making up is absolutely absurd.”
He said that when he becomes aware of someone around him who is doing “malicious things,” he cuts them out of his life, and does not surround himself with “bad people.”
Paul added that amid the investigation, his goal right now is to continue to focus on “my life, myself, boxing, music.” He then thanked his fans for supporting him through “crazy times.”
This is his first statement about the incident since it occurred.
When news of the rade initially broke, the reason behind it was unclear, but a spokesperson confirmed to multiple news outlets that it was related to an investigation about “criminal acts surrounding the incident at Scottsdale Fashion Square in May 2020.”
Paul was charged with criminal trespass and unlawful assembly on June 4 after several videos showed him at the mall while it was being looted and vandalized. In a statement on Twitter, he refuted the allegations, saying he and his friends were at the mall to “peacefully protest.”
