This summer, children will come to Horses on the Hill to ease their anxiety, overcome trauma and learn to deal with life.

Good morning! Scott Wartman here with what’s happening around Hamilton County.

It’s not a county known for horse farms. Even rarer still are Cincinnati horse farms. But there’s one at the end of a street in East Price Hill.

I went to this hidden horse farm in May and found a bunch of enthusiastic people preparing to turn the farm into an educational and therapeutic center, as well as a community gathering spot. Kids will be able to go there this summer to ease their anxiety, overcome trauma and learn to deal with life.

One person believes it could be "a pearl in the city."

Fierce fighting in northern Gaza as Israel defends itself at World Court
Israeli forces battled Hamas fighters in the narrow alleyways of Jabalia in northern Gaza on Friday in some of the fiercest engagements since they returned to the area a week ago, while in the south militants attacked tanks massing around Rafah. Residents said Israeli armour had thrust as far as the market at the heart of Jabalia, the largest of Gaza's eight historic refugee camps, and that bulldozers were demolishing homes and shops in the path of the advance. As fighting raged in the north and south of the territory, the U.S. military said trucks carrying humanitarian assistance had started moving ashore from a temporary pier in Gaza on Friday morning.

When Idaho voters head to the polls Tuesday to decide primaries for the U.S. House and the state legislature, one contest will be noticeably absent from the ballot: the race for the White House. The May 23 caucuses will function more like a party-run primary with printed ballots and set polling hours, as opposed to the old Iowa-style caucuses in which caucus-goers indicate their candidate preference by moving around the room and forming groups. A fox on stilts? Argentine long-legged maned wolf returned to the wild
Argentine conservationists have returned a rare and unusual-looking animal, a maned wolf, to the wild around Buenos Aires, with its long black legs and red-fur making the creature look like a fox on stilts or perhaps wearing knee-high boots. The endangered species, whose natural habitat is usually in the hot northeast of the country, has slowly migrated south, which experts said was linked to land clearances for farming, hunting, global warming and more extreme weather. "This (migration) is a phenomenon that is occurring with many species of large vertebrates," said Marcela Orozco, a doctor in biological sciences at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) and researcher at the national science institute CONICET.

An exhaustive rescue operation to find missing construction workers trapped in the rubble of a collapsed building in South Africa will end on Friday after nearly two weeks and with 19 people still unaccounted for, authorities said. At least 33 people have been confirmed dead after the collapse of the unfinished five-story apartment complex in the city of George on the country's south coast on May 6. The tragedy was one of South Africa's worst building collapses.

BRUSSELS (Reuters) -The European Commission could fine Microsoft if it doesn't provide adequate information on risks stemming from generative AI features in search engine Bing by May 27. The Commission said on Friday that it is worried about the dissemination of deep fakes and automated manipulation of services that can mislead voters. It said it was stepping up enforcement actions on the matter, as it had not received a reply to a request for information sent on March 14.
